like for example herbes De Provence, Italian seasonings, and Greek seasonings. you never hear english seasonings, German, Russian, Irish, Swedish, or Polish seasonings.

I am a former chef trained in french cuisine and the euorpean and germanic areas plus the scandinavian countrys do not have a specific spice blends, but use alot of the same spices, dill, coriander seeds, white pepper, garlic, cardamon, fennel, caraway, poppyseeds and paprika.
The main reason for the pre-made or more recognizable blends are there regions of origin and the fact there are several different variances of cooking style (regional) in France, Italy and Greece and all the meditreanian. Strangely enough alot of there food is cooked and blend with the smae spices, just in different ratios and to a one more than other level.
