My mom is going to the grocery store tomorrow and I’m sick of eating the same things week after week. I just never know what to tell her to buy.
Last summer I was in really good shape, but I sort of gained a little bit of weight over the winter. Now I’m in the process of losing it again so I need to eat HEALTHY things.
I used to eat a lot of healthy choice meals, but I’m sick of those. Plus I know that processed stuff isn’t every very good for you.
What are some simple/fairly cheap things I could have her buy.
I know she’ll buy fruit.
But what should I tell her as far as veggies go. Does anyone know any simple ways to make veggies taste better but still be healthy. Like a low-calorie seasoning maybe, instead of like cheese or peanut butter. ha
For breakfast we usually just get a high-fiber cereal with soy milk. Or protein bars of some sort.
Then for snacks I’ve been eating a lot of freeze pops lately. I know they’re high in sugar but it’s better than what I could be eating for snacks. ha
But what should I have her buy for lunch and dinner.
Anyone know a healthy recipe with tortillas. Vegetarian would be nice because my mom doesn’t eat much meat, and I don’t really need meat. I’ve sort of been in the mood for something with tortillas lately, but other than that I have no ideas.
SO if anyone has any healthy/SUPER SIMPLE recipes that would be wonderful. As in- mostly microwave/maybe something that involves a stove. Our oven is broken so that’s not an option. BUT I do have a magic bullet that I could make salsa with or something.
So like- healthy/vegetarian mostly/not too expensive/super simple/fairly quick to cook.
Any ideas.

Go with her.
If you do, stay on the outside aisles and pick whatever you think will taste good. Think salads, wraps, fish, etc. Don’t go on the inner aisles because that’s normally packaged and junk food.
