A few nights ago, my family was cooking out and we decided to make some cooked peaches for desert. This is what they include:
Sliced Peaches
Jack Daniels Whiskey
Brown Sugar
Butter

So when we were cooking them, my sister was sitting in a frog-position in front of the oven to watch them. Then all of a sudden, the oven door pops open and a blue flame pops out and throws her backwards. It cinged all the hair on her face including eyebrows and eyelashes. Her whole face was red and smelt like a campfire. We came to the conclusion that the alcohol in the peaches built up in the stove and ignited itself, the pressure causing the oven to open.

But my question is, shouldn’t the cookbook have warned us that this could happen. And what can we do about it.
