Tomorrow is the day for the Big Breakfast Pizza Challenge , and I’m a little nervous but mostly excited.  It’s the first pizza competition that I’ve ever been in, and I think it will be lot’s of fun!  The battle lines have been drawn, and my weapon of choice will be the Eggs Florentine Breakfast Pizza . The Eggs Florentine Pizza Eggs Florentine Breakfast Pizza The concept is reasonably simple – a traditional eggs florentine is an English muffin, topped with wilted spinach, smoked salmon, poached egg, with some hollandaise sauce poured on top.  The trick is, how do you put this on a breakfast pizza? Well, this is how I did it… There will no English muffin of course, that will be replaced by the pizza base.  I cover the base with some spinach leaves, and then add some shredded Caboolture cheese over the spinach (it’s better to put the spinach under the cheese, to protect it from burning in the pizza oven) . Then I crack an egg, and carefully spread it around the pizza as best I can.  This part is a bit messy, but that’s half the fun of it sometimes! Putting a poached egg on the breakfast pizza is out of the question I think.  If you put a cooked egg on a pizza and then cook it again, it will just end up rubbery and terrible

As I’ve mentioned in the previous post, there are four important elements for making pizza:- the pizza dough, the pizza sauce , the pizza cheese, and of course, the toppings. Today I’m going to share with you the best pizza cheese in my opinion, and why it is my favourite.  There are of course many kinds of pizza cheese you can use, and mozzarella is traditionally the most popular going back through the ages, even right back to when pizza was first invented. There Are Many Varieties Of Pizza Cheese… I’m not just talking about the kinds of cheese that can be added as a topping in this case either, because really, any type of cheese that you can think of can be used to top a pizza, so long as it also works with the other toppings you’re using.  For example, goats cheese works really well on pizza with pieces of roasted pumpkin, caramelised onion, and spinach leaves, however spreading goats cheese over the entire pizza would overpower everything else (plus it’s really expensive!).

Lately you may have noticed that I’ve been doing quite a few posts on various pizza recipes , and there’s a very good reason for that.  For starters, working in a kitchen with a wood-fired pizza oven leads me to nights of creativity and experimentation at times, which I find very enjoyable. I also am planning something very exciting for you, my reader, to share all my knowledge and experience with you.  That’s all I can really say for now, there will be more updates when the time is right, but for now I just want to share with you a short article on why I think making pizza is fun… Why Making Pizza Is Fun Making Pizza Dough Cooking in the kitchen can be fun! That is true regardless of what you’re making, and includes creating pizza. Creating a pizza from scratch can be especially enjoyable. These are a number of the benefits of using a specific pizza recipe to make a do-it-yourself pizza: 1.

Making pizzas has a sense of alchemy about it for me, the way that you can easily turn simple flour and water with a bit of yeast into a pizza dough, and fits somewhere between an art and a science.

After eating some tasting menu or another (I do so many, I can hardly keep track), I wanted to replicate a taste combination of garlic and tarragon. This is not an uncommon combination by any stretch of the imagination, but it was after this tasting that I was making the Good Eats baked macaroni and cheese that I decided to make this variant. The tarragon adds a lovely undertone of sweetness that takes what would otherwise be a fantastic macaroni and cheese and turns it into something slightly exotic.

Cafe 101 in hollywood serves a brownie waffle sundae, which inspired this recipe. before i was vegan, my friend tom and i would drive out to hollywood in the middle of the night just to share a fresh-off-the-iron brownie waffle topped with a scoop of ice cream and drizzled with chocolate syrup.
